The 
Swan as she looked when she was first launched and had her lugsail rig.  Collafirth 
was typical of many herring stations in Shetland.  This shows the nets stowed up
 on deck. The Swan usually carried 60 drift nets.  Shooting the nets  Shooting the nets  Hauling in the nets  It was the girls who
